Parallel and diagonal represent two fundamentals in Futsal at all levels, from basic categories to international competitions. Parallel and diagonal are apparently simple technical gestures, but at the same time they are very complex to create. And’ precisely in the context of … Continue reading

Train the 2nd part parallel, the parallel “live”

Training the parallel, one of the fundamentals of futsal, it is an imperative!

The parallel “live” it is a technical gesture aimed at finalizing and developing the attacking game, is disconnected, both in an integrated manner within the, game system but compared to the “parallel classic” it is achieved through the collaboration and simultaneous involvement of three players.

The parallel “live” it provides mechanisms and synchronicities higher than those necessary to realize the parallel “classical” which is sometimes the result of an understanding between just two players. For this reason, to train it properly, a high degree of mechanization of the movement is necessary, which can only be obtained through continuous repetition until the desired improvement is obtained through a movement that is natural and synchronized fluid..

Attention should be paid to elements such as:

  • Oriented control
  • Attack the game space
  • Movement without the ball
  • Rotation with change of roles

The proposal of the so-called indirect parallel provides: unloading-change of direction-reception in the space with movement without the ball and involving only three players.

The exercise developed allows you to involve the entire group available on the entire surface of the playing field. And’ an open exercise in which variations can be introduced such as the choice to conclude on “diagonal” rather than on “parallel”

Propose the exercise always in continuity from all the top of the field in order to have the highest degree of participation and involvement of the players available. Take care of the technical gesture of the lift, insist on the cancellation and the change of direction, oriented control and management of the ball with just two touches and above all to emphasize the movement without the ball of the player who arrives at the goal.
